Keep Games on Schedule with Mule Mix Infield Conditioner

Are you finding that it is difficult to maintain the grade of your infield skin when it rains? You are not alone! With playability and safety at stake, many facility managers spend a great deal of time and money trying to keep the field dry. Moisture and rain are, without a doubt, your field’s greatest enemies. Although there is no substitute for continuing care, finding the right infield conditioner is critical to delivering the results you need. What’s more, it can help reduce your maintenance effort and costs in the long run.

Field managers and coaches give Southern Athletic Field’s Mule Mix the thumbs up. In addition to improving playing conditions and reducing rainouts, it also helps your field look its best. Learn the benefits of using this high-performance field material.

Why Make this SAF Field Conditioner Part of Your Field Maintenance Program

Made from calcined clay from the North Mississippi area, this infield mix is fired at high temperatures of 1200° to 1400° for superior moisture control. The tiny granules function like thousands of super sponges, quickly absorbing rain water and then slowly release it back into the infield dirt to prevent compaction.

The benefits of this popular product include:

  • It holds a significant amount of rain water to keep your field playable

  • Reduces drainage issues

  • Provides a compaction-free and safer playing surface

  • Prevents your field from becoming hardened by the heat of the sun

  • Less dust is kicked up during play

  • Helps control overall field maintenance costs
